We're happy to see that the Wii Dead Rising game keeps an emphasis on a wide variety of useful and/or hilarious weapons, including saw blades, samurai swords, benches, and various firearms. All of the weapons have been given some kind of motion-based interaction: guns, for example, are reloaded by shaking. That sounds like some other Wii game that used the Resident Evil 4 engine! But which one?

Despite the haters, this game still looks like a lot of fun for what it is: a zombie killfest in a mall. Motion controls aren't bad by default. It just depends on how it's used. Use of the term "waggle" is just a demonstration of your ignorance regarding the positive aspects of motion control. If you're not willing to learn the nuiances of control, then you're unworthy of innovations in gaming.

I'm still on the fence with this game. I'm a recenty 360 owner and Dead Rising is a game I want to purchase. Asside from waggle vs graphics/acheievements, the deciding factor for me would be price. Currently I can pick Dead Rising for 360 new for $29.99 and used for $17.99 (according to my local gamestop). If this comes out for $50 no way, but $29.99 like RE:4, I might consider it for wii instead.
