It's not bad, i'm a bit stuck, but i turned hints down to low because you guys said it was painfully easy in your review. I'm enjoying wandering around and trying everything i can think of though, that's fun!

Hey, I never said it was painfully easy, just that the game pretty much points you in the direction you need to go all of the time.
Is that the same thing?
*shrug*
Glad you're enjoying it, though!

in a point and click adventure? Yeah...that makes it pretty easy... Though I'm not sure how hard I want it to be, considering "Challenge" in point and clicks usually means taking every item and clicking on everything else....

I wasn't expecting too much from SBCG4AP. It's Wii Ware, which limits the amount of content they can stuff in there, and it's based on a fairly obscure license.
I think the Homestar Runner fans are the ones who are going to get the most out of this -- seriously, would the uninitiated really be able to appreciate seeing *The Stick* in full 3D glory? -- but I got a couple chuckles from the other members of the family who were watching on.
I don't feel like I've gotten very far because I'm bad at point-and-click-em-ups and I don't want any hints, but what I've seen so far is promising. There's way too much love and real Brothers Chaps input to call this a cash-in on any level. I'm definitely going to get in on the next few episodes.

Defiantly not a cash in, this was made with love for the fans as a total fan service straight through. I'm curious if they make the game more deep / challenging / broad as the games go on. Brothers Chaps have never been ones not to push themselves, I'm going to bet they're pushing the telltale team pretty hard to do some fun stuff.

It was funny, fast, fun, and a great throwback to Monkey-Island-style games of yore. I had it done in about 3 hours, and it was entertaining all the way through.
I did get stuck just a few times, but was eventually able to bump my way to the answer to every puzzle (that's the benefit of having a 10-item-inventory, I guess).
I'm looking forward to another big slice of SB's style next month.

Downloading and playing the game was the first thing I did when I got home from work yesterday. It has been almost a year since I last went onto homestarrunner.com but this brought back all those great memories. I am a fan of point-and-click adventure games, so being also a fan of Strongbad, this was just perfect for me. However, I can most definitely see this not being so popular with people unfamiliar with the antics of Strongbad.
I for one, though, am looking forward to playing (and probably beating) it later today, and then waiting patiently for the next episode. Well, either wait or just make some more Teen Girl Squad comics, either one...

I'm a SUCKER for point & clicks, so throwing StrongBad into the equation is a dream come true! I'm having a friggin' blast with it! Cudos to the brothers Chaps and Telltale for pumping so much content, quality and hilarity into the game. Now if you'll excuse me, I'ma go punch some snakes.

Hilarious stuff! I shotgunned it yesterday - it was just too excellent to put down. The one-liners are hand-crafted with love, and the graphics are curiously well done.
Every inside joke felt like a payment for being a dedicated Homestar fan since the beginning (Particularly enjoyed the appearance of Marshie).
Upon beating it, I had the initial "Is that it?" feeling, and started to wonder if it had really been worth my money - but of course, putting it into perspective, the download is about the same as a movie ticket, and considering it was just brilliant, and two hours longer than a feature-length flick; I'd say it was priced just perfectly.
I WILL be downloading the next episode, for sure.

So far I love it! It's hysterical, but if you aren't a H*R fan, watch the SBEmails first or you'll be lost.

When I first heard about this I was really interested but when I checked it out online and saw you could download a PC demo version I did that. It's funny & entertaining but I got quite tired of the point & click, and never figured out how to get to the snake boxing etc. Considering that I read elsewhere it takes 300+ blocks I'm going to wait, abet probably forever, until either it comes out on disc or an add'tl storage solution. (I'm too paranoid to spend the $, have to delete, then not be able to redownload.) Or maybe I'll just go with the PC version.

I agree that If you're not a fan of Strong Bad, You probably shouldn't be downloading this game. It helps to be into "Point-&-Click-em-ups" as well. But, if you've ever seen even one Strong Bad web-cartoon, then you're most likely a fan. I mean, how could you NOT be? Unless you're finding it too difficult to handle his style. Which is also understandable.
Back to the point: I'm really enjoying the first episode. I wish they were 500 points. Being that they're so short. But it's still awesome any which way in which it is sliced!

Awesomeness, pure and simple.
And strangely enough, it's actually more entertaining watching someone else play it.
It's like a thousand episodes of Strong Bad and HR rolled into a single game. Definitely worth more than the money and space required.
I feel bad for Matt Chapman, though. Apparently, doing all the voice-acting killed his throat (maybe that's another reason why they delayed it). Doing that many lines for one game, is the equivalent of him doing a full year of HR cartoons...
If anyone wants to know the interview I got that fact from, just reply to this.
