Well now, it looks like we might be hearing more on Disaster: Day of Crisis soon. That is, if an Australian certification that recently popped up has anything to say about it. So, what's the deal? Your guess is as good as ours.
The title received a Mature rating from the Australian classification board, on August 13th, so could the title be destined for a release this year? We can only hope. But, as it stands, that's all we have to go on right now.

It absolutely will, but don't expect it to be a big deal.
It will probably be sent out to die, just like Batallion Wars 2 and Fire Emblem last year, which released two weeks before Super Mario Galaxy.

Umm didn't they buy the company that was working on this game and put more resources and guidance behind it? Why do so many people think it's not coming out?
I thought they stopped talking about it out of respect for the tens of thousands of chinese that died recently.

I don't know. It's complete and utter absence from E3 (and not from the keynote, but from the show entirely) probably means that Nintendo either isn't too keen on promoting the title anymore, and like DonWii said, it will be pushed out without too much fanfare like Radiant Dawn and BWii were
Or, it could be the focus of an upcoming event of Nintendo's, like the much-speculated September conference that some people think they will do again this year
The project isn't dead, though. Monolith Soft isn't doing anything else at the moment, as far as we know
