When we tested this device, we found it to be exactly what is advertised: a way to make your Nunchuk wireless. The only issues at the time were with the price and the battery consumption. Now half of one problem has been taken care of!
We've spent some time with other Nyko gadgetry before. For a more holistic approach to unwiring the Nunchuk, check out the Kama Wireless Nunchuck, and for more things to stick to your Wiimote, have a look at the Perfect Shot and the Frontman guitar. And take a minute to remember the dearly de-partied Party Station.

As usual the battery consumption is the deal-breaker for me. I hate cords, but I hate buying batteries even more.

I kinda enjoy the fact that both ends of the nunchuck are tethered together. It wouldn't be the same with two sticks in your hands. Also, I don't think that thing is going to be WiiMotionPlus compatible.

I don't mind the wired nunchuck.
I've always LOVED the Wii remote. It's just the right size... long and smooth, but firm and stiff... and it feels perfect in my hand! LOVE IT! =)

You know, a thought has occurred to me. The Wii remote and the nunchuk are both motion controllers. So, why hasn't anyone come up with a way to use all that movement as a means of providing power to these devices? We already have the capability to create such a system, as demonstrated by a number of flashlights that can be powered simply by shaking them. All you'd need to add is a capacitor and work out a way to use it to charge the controller's batteries during use. (Not unlike the alternator on a car...)

Exactly, we can add the periodic masterbation motions to all games so we can always pretend we are playin No More Heroes.

Shame this offer isn't on Amazon UK. In fact, last time I looked (about 5 minutes ago) it seems impossible to get the adapter at all.
That doesn't sound right, has anyone in the UK found this on sale somewhere?
