Last week, Capcom's amazing
E-Tank beverages jumped off of the screen and into Japanese convenience stores. We totally want it, both to have in our small but meaningful
Mega Man collection and to taste how
Capcom (and whichever food company they've partnered with) imagines the
flavor of reserve energy. But even the flavor of robot fuel, were we ever daring enough to
open a mint-condition can (we're not) wouldn't slake our thirst for food items that look like things in video games.
But enough about our, uh,
tastes. Is there one item from any game that you'd like to be made into a real consumable? Eager to try some Lon-Lon Milk? Want to crack open a nice, cold Super Missile refill? Or just something simple like an authentic Merv Burger?

Hmm, I could really go for a Castlevanian pork chop, hot off the grill. How about some Kero-Kero Cola? Or, my favorite, a roast leg of YAK - fresh from the pantry of King Edward and guaranteed to save one's life if ever he is stranded at sea in one of Enix's most underappreciated RPGs of the SNES era. :)

I can't imagine a piece of meat that was encased in a stone block for god knows how long would taste good... I guess that's how they keep it warm though.

Gimme a Final Fantasy potion. Never got chance to get one when FFXII came out. Either that or that drink from Oddworld.

The eggplant from Adventure Island (can it really taste that bad Master Higgins? Just bread it up and fry it!)
I always thought the cake from Bubble bobble looked really good too.

A fairy from Zelda. Or a recovery heart. Or maybe even red potion, it looks like blood.

I would go for either a good ol' fashioned Mario mushroom, a FF Potion, or I would like to try the drug from Silent Hill White Claudia.

A Blue Potion, of Zelda fame
Or one of those giant lollipops that Kirby eats that make him invincible.

I'd like to have and MGS3 Calorie Mate... no wait, that's real.
AND IT WAS D*** GOOD! :D (became a huge fan of that stuff)
I'd like a few rings from Sonic that'd make me immortal until I dropped all of them. :D
But in all seriousness... I dunno... I wouldn't really buy anything that resembled a game-item unless it looked like it would taste good. (sodas, I always HAVE to try)

A Maximum Tomato from Kirby would make for an amazing BLT. In fact, I'd just take any of the food from the Kirby universe. It looks so good.
