Does the appearance of a classic Dreamcast-era character like Ulala increase your interest in the remake/sequel to a classic Dreamcast rhythm game? Or is Sega all about Sonic for you?

Woh. Tweaked coment system. That threw me off for a second.
Anyway, Sega is all about Phantasy Start to me. Oh, and I guess it's got Sonic, too. You let me shake maracas with Nei and I might get a little more excited.

Thing is, I haven't heard a single good impression about how well the new control scheme works, so I'm a bit worried about whether this new game will even *work*.
But with Ulala in the game? Gosh, that's at least worth a rent.

I love SC5. It's the only rhythm game I was ever any good at.
Thus, even though I KNOW I'll be awful at it, Ulala being in Samba De Amigo 98% ensures that I'm going to buy the game.

I never got a chance to play Space Channel 5 on the Dreamcast. I remember the original being on the shelves but I didn't buy the game because a sequel was soon coming out. Then a couple of days before its release the store said they were no longer stocking the game. Nobody was stocking the game. I couldn't find the original either.
I don't really like Samba. It always felt like forced zaniness. I'd prefered a Space Channel compilation.

I wasn't really interested in Samba de Amigo, but now I am. I love Ulala. :P When I heard she was going to be in the game, Mexican Flyer was immediately stuck in my head. (The song in the first level of Space Channel 5.) Then I looked at a song list and saw that Mexican Flyer is actually IN the game!
Yeah. It must be mine.

I'm still not interested in Samba de Amigo, but SEGA did succeed in painully reminding me how much I want a new Space Channel game on the Wii.
Jerks.

SEGA SEGA SEGA SEGA!
After the DC died, I actually thought that I might give up on console gaming. Seeing anything from the DC days definitely gets me excited!
