With Mega Man 9's September release right around the corner, it's about time that we finally caught a glimpse at one of Mega Man's new powers, the Concrete Shot. As evidenced above, it's basically like shooting some concrete out of your arm-mounted cannon. Simple enough, right?
Based on these new screens, though, it looks like it can also have an effect on the environments Mega Man will be traversing. Awesome!

I haven't been this excited for an 8-bit game in forever. I can't even remember getting excited over NES games when my parents used to buy me them when I was young.

Looks to be similar to the Ice Beam from Metroid. Levels could really be fun with this.
