Did Ron Gilbert to the Pajama Sam games? If so, I should buy them.

Pajama Sam, Freddy Fish and Spy Fox. They are all from the studio he started after leaving Lucas Arts.

Maybe once you start referring towards North America/NA instead of US.

I don't particularly care for the rest of North America nor do I feel I have a duty to consider their wishes.
I kid, I kid.

I will hopefully try to rent Mario Super Sluggers when it is released. I was hoping for Super Mario RPG this week but considering that it has been released on the Virtual Console in Japan and Europe, hopefully it becomes available in North America soon.
Now about this week's Virtual Console releases. I have never played Samurai Shodown II or Ys Book 1 and II. For awhile I've been hearing other users hear talking about both of them, hoping they would be released soon. I searched up Samurai Shodown II. I'm not a fan of most fighting games. But now to get to my question, what is Ys Book 1 and II and why is it so great?

Ys I & II Was similar to Zelda 1 but in my opinion longer, and better quality for the era as it was one of the first games I recall using the CD Rom. I have not touched the game or seen it since I was a kid back then so I am curious to hear how others remembered it...

Any plans for a Helix review? I'm still on the fence about purchasing it, but my girl is a rythm game fanatic and if she's happy, well, let's just say it makes my life that much easier (not to mention we both could benefit from a bit more exercise).

I'll take the total lack of a reply as a "no".

When the hell are we going to get Super Mario RPG? Japan got it a while ago and Europe got it last Friday. Why hasn't NA got it?
This has been the only VC game I have truly been waiting for since the inception of the service back when the console launched.

I walked into Wal-Mart this morning and they had a whole stack of Mario Sluggers, but when the clerk went to ring me up, the computer wouldn't let them sell it yet! It said the sale was not allowed, and yet his inventory sheet told him to rush it to the floor today. Neither he nor his boss could override the code. He then told me he'll probably have to pull all of those back off the shelf, and he wasn't too happy either.
So even though it was supposed to release today, it apparently won't happen until tomorrow. Game Stop said it would ship today, and get there tomorrow.
So Game Stop got my money instead on a preorder that I'll drop by to pick up tomorrow at my leisure instead of worrying if it will still be in stock by the time I get off work tomorrow.
I don't like dealing with Game Stop, but there isn't much choice here.
