Part of us thinks this ties into the whole music-sharing thing that was revealed during GC 2008. Remember, there Activision commented on paying for the ability to upload more of your own custom tracks. So, is this something to do with that? Or, are Wii owners going to need to pay a bit extra? We're thinking it'll have something to do with the music creation, but until we hear definitive word, this one's going to be left open for debate.

Yeah, i think it's like that disclaimer you see on any Wii commercial that mentions WiFi compatibility, and mentions the need to buy a Router, WiFi USB dongle, or Ethernet dongle

Alright, lets break this one down.
-GHTW World Tour is going to be available online for the 360, PS3, AND Wii.
-There may be a subscription charge.
-CONCLUSION: Hmmm... well, I'm 99% sure it's talking about the charge for X-Box Live.
-Why?: Ummm... some people aren't reading it right, or can't read maybe? It does NOT say: "Online gameplay is only available for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft; PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system and Wii may require an additional subscription." That's how people are interpreting it.
