Are you up for this Rygar? If so, is it because you wanted to play the PS2 version but never did? Or because you really liked the PS2 version and want whatever new content is attached to this one? Or general fandom of the Rygar arcade, Lynx (unlikely) or NES (more likely) game?

I enjoyed the NES version as a kid, and didn't know there were any other versions. If the reviews are positive, I may get this new/updated version.

I think Rygar on the Lynx was a straight port of arcade Rygar. That's why I loved it so much.

Actually I had never heard of it. So I'll just wait what the media has to say about it (and hope they wont just limit to say if it is a good/bad port, as it always happens in this cases).

I've never played the PS2 version, but my interest is piqued for this game right about now. I'm really hoping it turns out well and be a solid addition to my library.

I'll rent it, at least.
...but the game sounds like it's going to be a horrible, disastrously epic clusterfuck of a game, if they really restarted it 3 times.
I was hoping that because it went dark for so long that that means they were trying to turn it into...y'know...a real game and not another port, but nope. The game still is apparently just a few character face lifts with waggle and nothing more.

Cautious optimism. I loved the original in the arcades and I really liked the PS2 version, so I hope they do this version right.

Well, I have been looking forward to get this Pirates of the Caribean like music on my room while smashing Enemies with my Doko of Libra like chained shield getting the crap out of them!!!
Man, this is a day one purchase for me, cuz you know after the second remake, thay could had cancelled, but still, they want to give us good games (this is a remake of a PS2 game, I just can't see it as a port) and we have to respect em for that

even if it gets a good review, i may not buy it out of principle, just like i would buy conduit whether its good or bad. the conduit guys put their heart and soul into their project, while these bastards admitted to it originally being a quick and easy port. what changed? admitting it doesent mean that it will actually be a great deal different from the ps2 version (which i havent played). i dunno, ill wait for a review and it better be a good one

I was actually hoping for a VC release of this, I never heard if or why it was not. Rygar and Bionic Commando were my top choices for VC. It was a great NES game, the Lynx version like someone else said was closer to the arcade version iirc and that was sweet too, but I never checked out the PS2 version. I'd buy it for the Wii, but probablly used off eBay.
