Anyone else still surprised that this game is actually being released? We've got boxart! Huzzah! Not bad boxart, either. Thoughts?

It looks like a straight to DVD action flick.
I like it.
This feels a little B-movie - which I also like.

I also like it. The colors and style of art capture the sense of disaster and sorrow and regret. I'm impressed.

Well it definitely hits that 70's disaster movie vibe, a la Earthquake or Jaws.
...it's not very good, though. All that wasted space at the bottom looks amateurish and the bright red logo completely overpowers the art, which suffers from not really having a strong focal point and is washed out looking.

That doesn't necessarilly make it bad. I think the red logo actually looks well-placed with its surrondings. It's supposed to stick out and be obvious. The space at the bottom really isn't that bad either because it's being used by the log mostly, and there needed to be a bit od shaded are, in my opinion.
Art really is too opinionated :)

The space at the bottom (as well as on the sides) makes it feel like you're trapped in the rubble, looking out. :P

Reminds me of 9/11, actually. I'm not offended, but that is what it makes me think of.

I think that the red title should be white. Otherwise, its pretty much perfect to what the game's all about. The colors are bleak, as is the "day of crisis."

Same thing did not happen with Disaster and Rygar.
For those, we heard nothing for a long time, but it continued to be confirmed for release.
Project HAMMER was 100% disclosed to be shelved.

I like it. Captures the disaster in the background well.
I never really doubted that this would come out as we had a little bit of info about it. I would be surprised if Project H.A.M.M.E.R. came out.

I don't like it. Can't really explain why, though.
Still excited for the game in question, since they proved that the game doesn't lead you around by the nose.

Anyone else notice the TM after 'Disaster' on the side of the box? Could this mean that if successful, this could be a franchise?
And I like the boxart/.

Probably not 'til hurricane season is over and it's pretty far off from 9/11. We'll get it eventually but I wouldn't be surprised if in October we got a release window of Winter.

Oh yeah, i totally forgot about 9/11, though i remembered that Hurricane Season would probably stop them from announcing it
9/11, that's an even better reason.

I don't hate it. It's just that they crammed stuff around the rating/Nintendo. I do like the picture though, just not all of the cover

I'm really hoping that NA gets this same box art, as well.

One of the best boxarts I've seen and it's lightyears ahead of the well-received Wii Music box. Still, I feel that the boxart is going to be the best part about this game...

I don't see why it would be M
Unless there's some serious gore or sexual material or something of that nature It appears to only need a T.
I'll still get it, but do you think an M or a T would sell better?

i wish the title wasn't red. If it was white, it would've complimented the rest of the cover art.
and it could use less black at the bottom. it seems like they wanted that cool picture to be centered and added nothing to do so.
other than that, i love it and i hope this game makes a nice addition to the library of solid wii titles.

Great boxart. Any time they go for moody and stylis over colorful and flashy I like it. It's great how the people are just little silhouettes and the pic is dominated by the destruction. Gives a sense of scope and challenge.
This game wasn't on my radar until the recent resurgence. The first info way back wasn't enough to catch my interest and then it disappeared. But since those commercials and ads came out it's definitely on my Do Want list.
