I can't stand the look of third party stuff. Do you have to use those ugly gray battery covers with the nyko chargers? Do you have to with this charger? I'd like to keep the look of the wiimote most I can.

the nyko does require the gray (or other colors) battery cover; this is because the rechargeable batts have a contact that must touch part of the charging stand.
They don't look as nice as the pure white wiimote covers, true, but you'll save a TON on double-a's!

Doesn't mean it HAS to be gray, can't remember the brand I have but the only difference is the small silver contacts right at the bottom and a small increase in weight.
Have to be honest I am so glad I got one, as batmyke said no more money flitting away on double a's!

The one which GAME sell in the UK has a plain white cover, but with small metal contacts for charging. I'm surprised Ive managed to keep hold of the old cover, I always lost em on my Gameboys :P

I don't get it, how come people don't just buy rechargable AA? You can use them on camera's, wiimotes, xbox controllers, etc. They're cheaper and can be used on anything.

Who CARES about the color of the back??!! i'm just glad that i don't have to spend $10 bucks on batteries every few weeks!! I actually have both charges..this one and the nyko one...the mewe one's battery seems to last quite a bit longer!! anyone want a free nyko charger??!
