How do you feel about buying used games? We've found there's actually quite a split amongst gamers: some folks just don't buy used games from stores (but will buy them from individuals), some won't buy them at all, while others never seem to pick up anything new. Of course, that last could be due to levels of poorness, but we won't go into that.Wii Warm Up: Worn around the edges

Since the release of the PS2 game, Guitar Hero and Rock Band have somehow moved the music game out of the exclusive realm of people like us and into the mainstream. You probably know people who have one of those games. There's another factor in Taiko's favor this time: it's basically a party game, and the Wii is openly hospitable toward those.
Do you think a Taiko could be a success on the Wii outside of Japan? Are Americans ready to bang on a tiny replica of a Japanese drum in time with "Katamari on the Rock"?

Wii Warm Up: On how Travis can win your heart
So our secret is out: we're already totally hot for No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle. Aside from its name and the brief trailer we gushed about yesterday, little is known about the title (it might not even be a Wii game), but our love for the first No More Heroes means we're already unhealthily excited for this follow-up.We recognize that not everybody feels the same way, however. In the replies to our 9/10 review of Goichi Suda's Wii debut, a number of people suggested they were -- gasp -- disappointed by the game.
If you were one of those non-fans, what needs to change in the sequel to convert you?

Wii Warm Up: The tapping game
We'll leave the "issues" regarding Let's Tap for later discussion: whether Let's Tap is yet another minigame collection or a clever, unique design; if anything other than a superior mascot platformer is a disappointing post-Sega (sort of) debut for Yuji Naka; and if a game about slapping the table has real potential for fun or if it's just five minutes worth of gimmickry.
There's another question that is foremost on our minds: Which do you think is more likely to inspire rhythmic drumming: Let's Tap or its theme song?
Wii Warm Up: Are you satisfied?
A lot of people have been disappointed with Nintendo this year. Whether or not you're one of them doesn't really matter for this part of the exercise; the fact is that some folks have just been a little pissed off, after E3, after a lack of certain announcements, after stubbing a toe on all their Wii accessories, whatever. But a lot of things have happened in the past week, and while the biggest announcement was pretty DS(i)-centric, that doesn't mean we didn't get some great news on the Wii side of the equation. So our question today is: are you satisfied?
Wii Warm Up: Huzzah!
Okay, you guys have probably figured out that a couple of Wii Fanboy staffers are enormous fans of Cave Story. I happen to think that it's completely brilliant, and a better game in terms of presentation, control, music, level design, story, and characterization than just about anything else -- and yes, that includes games that are sold for money. Judging from these off-screen videos, the WiiWare version (developed by Nicalis, home of Knytt creator Nifflas! How perfect is that?), is quite faithful except for the music. We'll have to wait before judging that too harshly. In any case, Pixel is getting my money. I still hope he's involved in this port in some way.
Are you guys up for paying money for a formerly free game? What do you hope to see in the "expanded content?" Is anyone out there just discovering the original game as a result of the announcement of the WiiWare version?
Wii Warm Up: Punish-Out!!

Wii Warm Up: Does it solve your storage problems?
You heard it boys and girls: Nintendo's storage solution is coming in 2009. But, is it too little, too late? With the system only supporting 2gb cards, is this a viable solution to a growing problem? Sure, you can buy a bunch of 2gb cards, but who wants SD cards all over the place? What we're wondering is will this be enough to satisfy those of us who need more than 512mb of storage space?
Wii Warm Up: Get your prediction on
This time tomorrow, we'll know whether the much-discussed Nintendo Media Summit was worth all the excitement. In the meantime, we've a simple question: what do you all expect and/or hope to be announced at the event? The Wii Fanboy staff tend to be divided on the matter. Dave is predicting a Wii Fit add-on pack or new Channel update that uses the leaked pedometer peripheral, Wesley suspects this rumor could mean the unveiling of Kid Icarus or Punch-Out!! (though says his "money would be on Kid Icarus"), JC forecasts dates for Disaster: Day of Crisis and Fatal Frame IV, while Mike and Dave both think we could see a solution to our ongoing storage woes (as do I, actually).
Over to you, reader. What has Nintendo got up its sleeve?
Wii Warm Up: WiiWare revival
The release of Art Style: Orbient yesterday got us thinking about WiiWare and how it's a great means to deliver gaming content that may otherwise not be able to reach us. The Virtual Console gets the occasional import game and Nintendo can even deliver remakes of titles that were previously Japan-only. So, what would you like to see release on the service next?
Is there a Flash game or a title that is only available in a certain region you'd like to see hit WiiWare? What would be a dream title you'd like remade for WiiWare?
Wii Warm Up: The next big thing
Today, over at DS Fanboy, we're discussing the probable changes to the DS Lite, and of course, it's gotten us thinking a little about Wii adjustments. Do you think we'll see a beefed-up version of the little white console? There are some issues with it, certainly, but Nintendo has concentrated most of their hardware re-releases to handhelds in the past. If you think we will see a Wii-plus, what do you think it'll have? Storage? DVD playback? Something utterly useless? When will it hit?
Wii Warm Up: Mega Busted
Mega Man 9 is back-to-basics in more than just the graphics. Rush can no longer turn into shoulder pads, for example. There's no charge ability for the Mega Buster, nor are there the shot upgrades available in Mega Man 8's store. You can't even slide any longer. If we were going to get into Mega Man X, we could add the wall-clinging business as well.
Is there one addition to the post-Mega Man 2 world that you miss the most? The Mega Buster? Sliding? Clown Man's voice acting?
