Misfit Mushroom

While this one is not so uncommon in early Mario games, it is actually an outlier by comparison to the modern super mushroom. Take a close look and you'll notice that its spots are red as opposed to the white-spotted 'shrooms you'll find in most other games (and in real life). Then again, the NES had a poor batting average with colors.
