One of the toughest obstacles to overcome on the Wii is actually finding online friends to enjoy games with. Because the Wii is not built like the Xbox 360 or PS3, you can't just jump into any game at any time and meet a bunch of new people. There's a process that must be followed.

That's why we here at Wii Fanboy created Game Night, a weekly gathering of Wii Fanboy staff and readers with one purpose: play some games. We get together in a chat and exchange friend codes (as well as the usual banter), providing the community with a one-stop-shop for finding great people to enjoy Wii games online with. We do it every Thursday at 7pm ET, so just show up at the site then and follow the instructions.
