Dojo update: A new approach
From today onwards, we'll be adopting a slightly different approach to our daily updates on Brawl. As director Sakurai is now dedicating the dojo to the numerous hidden characters, stages, and features that are lurking in this most content-heavy of games, we're going to be concealing any new Brawl revelations past the post break. It's the best way we can still bring you the latest Brawl news, without ruining the game for those who are taking a wide berth from spoilers.
If you care not a jot about reading up on Brawl's myriad secrets, then we'll see you past the break!
Update: Galleries have now also been posted past the break.
Dojo update: Lyn emerges
Another Assist Trophy was revealed over at the dojo today in Lyn, a character from the GBA game Fire Emblem. Wielding a weapon of similar stature to another Assist Trophy, her attacks are more deliberate and less on the reckless side like Samurai Goroh. Aside from that, the site suggests that once you summon her, you grab your enemy and hold on to them, allowing her attack to hit them point blank for massive damage.
Spanish development team signs up for Wii devkit
One of our Spanish readers recently sent us a story about a Spanish development team trying to get their hands on a Wii development kit to start making a game. Well, turns out they have begun working on a project, specifically a futuristic racing game. The team, called SBTeam, is supposedly looking to past titles such as Wipeout, F-Zero, and Xtreme-G for inspiration, while attempting to incorporate a lot of online features to create a more robust gaming experience. There is also an interview with the team where they talk about their goals for the game, how the idea arose, and their opinions on the state of gaming in Spain. All of the links are in Spanish, so you might want to try a translator.
