Link gets a corset, too

Many of you had some strong opinion's regarding TheVintageDoctor's Mario corset, so we only found it fitting to tell you about her new Zelda-related fashion item.

This corset is very similar to the last one, only featuring Link instead of the portly plumber. Unfortunately, the image used on the corset almost looks like it could be a Link "upskirt" pic, but we're still impressed by this outfit nonetheless.

Also, as of writing this, it's still in stock. So, you can wear (or have your girlfriend wear) Link's backside for $99.98 -- expensive, but a fair price for all the work that probably went into this.

We never thought Mario could be so sexy

Technabob described this corset best by calling it "fierce" -- we also appreciate the Project Runway reference -- and you know what? We actually like it. It's original, well-made, geeky, retro, and sexy. What's not to like? Then again, we're no Tim Gunns, and we could imagine the poor man being horrified by such a creation.

Unfortunately, the item is already sold out on Etsy, so if you were planning on buying it for yourself or a gal friend, it's too late. We've seen unique Mario fashions from TheVintageDoctor before, though, so hopefully there will be some more good stuff to come.

Wii shirts rounded up

Keeping track of all the Wii t-shirts being sold on the internet can be tough. Whenever we try to wade through our bookmarks to pick one out, it feels like we're drowning in a sea of outdated pages and bad puns.

OMG Tees has listed over a dozen of the best Wii-related apparel, providing photos, descriptions, and information on where to buy them. We've featured the Beatles and custom Mii designs before, but some of collected shirts (like the Bruce Wii one shown above) have managed to escape our attention until now.

Would you actually dole out cash for any of these shirts? Or are you more like us, always putting it off and telling yourself that you'll buy one as soon as you have a little more extra cash laying around?

Nintendo World Store fashion show

Nintendo recently held a fashion show at their Nintendo World Store in NYC, where gamers displayed clothing items for sale in the store, as well as fanmade creations. We've developed a new classification system for Nintendo fandom based on this event and the accompanying photo gallery:
  1. People who play Nintendo games
  2. People who wear Nintendo t-shirts
  3. People who make their own Nintendo t-shirts
  4. People who model those t-shirts at Nintendo events
We personally fall into level 3 of the Nintendo Fanboyism T-Shirt Scale. We think it's a pretty good measure of fandom, although it doesn't take into account the whole "working for a website called Wii Fanboy and writing about Nintendo all day" thing. Hmm.

I-Case spring fashion show

Team Xtender, the group behind the chrome casing and Black Knight Wii mods, plans to diversify its line of I-Case replacement shells with a more colorful look. The mod manufacturer has posted photos of its concept models in their new outfits, dressing the Wii and its stand in red, yellow, green, blue, and pink.

Nothing has been finalized yet, so don't expect to see these vibrant kits on the market for a while. The I-Case's pricing has been a little more competitive than the SHOCKii's ($40 versus $50), so we're glad to see some competition in the replacement shell market. Click past the post break for more glamour shots from the Wii runway.

A fashionable way to play

Some of us are perfectly happy to sling our Wiimotes while wearing sloppy jeans and an old t-shirt, but not all gamers are so unconcerned with fashion. After all, you play your best when you feel your best, and how can you feel like a pwning machine unless you look the part? Well, if you're a Nintendo-loving fashion plate, City Magazine has the answer -- themed outfits for the fashion forward Wii owner. They even tell you where to pick up each item, so if you can't live without a sequined DKNY baseball jersey so you can look like the bat-slingin' diva that you are, you'll know exactly where to go.

We'd also like to add that if you really feel like you need a diamond bangle for Wii Sports tennis, we absolutely take donations. Share the wealth love, friends!
