Circuit City giving away 21 Wiis
Sure, the chances of ever winning anything in a giveaway are slimmer than Kate Moss, but it never hurts to try. With that said, Circuit City (of the dot com variety) will be giving away one Wii per day from 12/2 (today) to 12/22. All you need to do to enter is put in your email, so at least the effort isn't too taxing for such a futile endeavor. Of course, you have to be a U.S. citizen (or in a U.S. territory or Puerto Rico) to take part in the sweepstakes (damn the law). Anyway, good luck to all who enter, we're sure you're going to need it.
And the Super Paper Mario winner is ...

Don't be too hard on him folks, as you'll get your chance to win a free game from Wii Fanboy soon enough. Again, thanks to all who entered, congrats to the winner, and thank you all for reading Wii Fanboy!
Reminder: Last day to enter the Super Paper Mario giveaway

Best of luck to you all and, again, thanks for reading Wii Fanboy!

Custom Cooking Mama apron contest
We tried everything to convince our parents into driving us to the Cooking Mama: Cook Off launch event at New York City next Saturday -- temper tantrums and crocodile tears -- none of those would move their cruel hearts. We desperately want one of the limited edition aprons that the Nintendo World Store will be giving away as door prizes, and if we have to spend a week pouting with crossed arms at the dinner table to get one, well then that's just what we're going to do. You might not have to go through the same childish lengths to score some custom kitchen-wear. Video game chef Becky Mueller is hosting a Nintendo-themed cooking contest at N+, offering up her own hand-crafted Cooking Mama apron to the grand prize winner. She spent over 20 hours sewing the fabric together and embroidering the logo until it looked just right. We really have to admire Becky's generosity, donating this labor of love to N+'s readers. It's a lot more than our soulless parents ever did for us...
Head past the post break for a bigger photo of the charming apron and its Cooking Mama logo.

The Wii on Dr. Phil
Dr. Phil, in his latest one-two punch at arch-nemesis Oprah, did one of those crazy audience giveaway things. They didn't get cars, of course ... oh no, they got something better. And in case your predictive powers are slightly out of whack, we'll lay it down straight for ya ... he gave everyone a bunch of Wii's.
Heck, he even gave Wii Tennis a run-through. After dressing up in pretentious high-performance athletic gear, he proceeded to defeat his opponent amidst whining and blatant cheating. Check it out for yourself ... and wish you were one of those lucky, lucky audience members.

Comedy Central features Wii in "Thanxgiveaway"
Sure, you could be grateful for your home and your family and all that other mushy garbage, but we know what you really want ... and so does Comedy Central. Nothing makes you scream thanks to the deity of your choice like a free Nintendo Wii -- and that's why the Wii is a featured prize for the comedy network's Thanksgiving promotion. During 48 hours of programming between Thursday and Sunday, Comedy Central will give away a Wii every hour, so grab a plate of leftovers and settle in. After all, cold mashed potatoes taste so much better when there's a chance at a free console.GameFly gets in on the Wii giveaway madness

Yesterday, Paula R. from Columbus, Ohio clicked a button at GameFly and won a Nintendo Wii. Tomorrow, it could be you! Sadly, today it wasn't any of us. Sigh. But GameFly is giving away a Wii every day until the end of November. That's a lot of Wiis, and one of them could be yours. Don't use GameFly? That's okay, you can still enter. Here's hoping one of our readers snags a free console!
More giveaway frenzy: snag a DS and Wii from Nintendo
Nintendo giveaways are everywhere lately, but this time it's official -- Nintendo is giving away a Wii and a DS in conjunction with their Fusion Tour. Sadly, they'll be autographed by some guys you've never heard of, but hey! If we can file the gloss off a DS, anything is possible. The full grand prize is: one DS Lite, one DS game, one Wii, CDs from the bands on the Fusion Tour, and tour swag. Five lucky members of Nintendo's website will pick up those packages. You do have to register to enter, but that's okay. It's Nintendo.com, so aren't you registered already?
[Thanks, Author X!]
