Fanswag: And the Eternal Night winner is ...

Our winner, chosen at random, is:
- Diana Lindeman, who said she wanted to win because "A new game means new ideas and fun."
Wii Fanswag: Eternal Night and more RedBeard goodies

So, what must you do before you can get your hands on all of this? Well, first off you need to be 18 years of age and a legal resident of the United States. Second, you need to leave a comment before 11:59PM EST on Thursday, November 8th, telling us why you think you deserve this prize pack. And third, you need to sit back and wait to see if you won. We'll select a winner (by random, of course) come Friday, November 9th. Before entering, you'll have to be sure to read the rules, however.
Just to make things clear:
- One grand prize winner will receive The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night ($50), one RedBeard Wiimote and nunchuk skin ($10) and one classic controller skin ($10).
Wii Warm Up: Rock your face(plate) off

If you didn't have to worry about ruining the controller, and if you had the artistic ability or technical cleverness to achieve it, how would you customize your guitar? What imagery, and what methods? Would you paint something onto the faceplate, or make your own custom skin? Game characters, realistic guitar finishes, or banana stickers?
Fanswag: And the Crash winner is ...

- Grand Prize winner: Ponweed, who likes the "the one about the orange rodent guy and the guy with an N on his forehead."
- Runner-up: Eddie Lopez, who enjoyed Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back
Fanswag reminder: You only have hours left

So, be sure to head on over to the contest post (we'll link it again for you) and get your entry in before 11:59pm EST tonight. Oh, and remember: one entry per person. We'd hate for you to be disqualified.
Wii Fanswag: Crash of the Titans and Wii skins

- Grand prize winner will receive our review copy of Crash of the Titans (this means it lacks shrinkwrap) and the Fiery Red Beard Wii skin
- Runner-up will receive the Warrior Wii skin
Winners will be chosen at random. Please read the official rules before entering. Good luck and thanks for reading Wii Fanboy!
New Guitar Hero 3 guitar skins look like guitars

Red Burst up there looks like something we'd expect to see on a fancy PRS guitar, for example. The rest of them are all delightfully classic, with the exception of Diamond Plate, which is totally metal. Jem from HeroGear promises that their full line of "50+ designs" will be available for the Wii guitar soon after launch. So if you want to put a thin, clingy sheet of stuff over your controller, this is an option. It'll look cooler than Saran Wrap, anyway.
HeroGear.net may not have ever seen a real guitar
Guitar Hero "skin" purveyor HeroGear.net has released images of their skins for Guitar Hero III controllers, including two made for the Wii guitar. The first, seen above, doesn't do a lot to aid the illusion that the squeaky plastic controller is a real guitar, since guitars tend to have paint jobs that look like they could be made of paint (and usually only on the body.) The pattern is called "Neon Blocks" and we have no idea what the idea is there.
The other Wii skin, Neon Rebel, is ideal for either Lynyrd Skynyrd superfans or people who love uncomfortable conversations. Really, it's best for people who fall into both categories.

Classic Controller gets skinned

You've been able to cover your Wiimote and Nunchuk with a colorful silicone shell for some time now. But your poor Classic Controller has remained-- shamefully-- nude.
Cyber Gadget is offering a solution to this indecent situation with Classic Controller skins in six colors: blue, pink, white, black, clear, and clear black. They even come with little coordinating analog stick covers!
Cyber Gadget has yet to put these up on their own site, so it seems that they aren't available for sale yet. We're sure someone will offer them to non-Japanese markets once they're released.
