New LEGO Indy trailer is chock full of the right stuff

If you're a human being and not a robot hiding in stolen skin (robots have not yet perfected the science of manufacturing a lifelike skin substitute, thankfully), then you're likely excited for the fourth Indiana Jones film. Well, releasing just shortly after the movie is a LEGO title that covers the first three movies. What? You had no idea? Well then, you need to read us more!

Above, you'll find a new trailer for the game, showcasing a few select scenes from each of the movies represented, as well as something we hope for in every single game trailer we see: lots of in-game footage.

Video, screens, and info for Attractive People

Hey there, pretty people -- you might be interested in hearing the latest news about Telltale's upcoming WiiWare series, Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People. As for the rest of you uglies, just movie on -- there's nothing to see here. (If you're perusing Wii Fanboy, you're clearly hot stuff, so don't worry and read on.)

Telltale reports that the first episode of the game, titled "Homestar Ruiner," centers around Strong Bad's desire to pummel Homestar Runner. He then decides that the best way to beat his rival would be to defeat him in the tri-annual Race to the End of the Race.

You can check out the video of "Homestar Ruiner" above, although it doesn't show too much gameplay. Occasionally, it looks like you have to choose something from a thought bubble in order to progress the story, but often there's only one item to choose from. Joystiq did report that the demo for SBCG4AP was pretty linear, but hopefully the episode in its entirety will have more to offer.

We've also added some new game screens to our gallery, which feature some beloved characters from the Homestar Runner-verse, so be sure to check them out.

Joystiq talks with Strong Bad devs

Our overlords at Joystiq managed to snag an interview with Telltale Games, the developers behind Sam & Max and the upcoming Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People. They manage to get the lowdown on how long this project was in the works, as well as what to look forward to in each episode. It's an interesting read, so be sure to head on over there and check the interview out.

Telltale speaks about Sam & Max, Wii

We don't have to tell you longtime readers of the site how excited we are for Sam & Max on the Wii. No longer will those of us who don't have the desire or hardware specs to download the game on our PC be left without an option to play these undoubtedly great episodes (not to mention Strong Bad, which we have high hopes for). Sad to say, though, that this doesn't mean the episodes from Season Two will see a simultaneous release on the Wii.

This, and more, were said in an interview with CVG. Telltale's Emily Morganti and Dave Grossman took time out of their day to explain a bit about the Wii version of Sam & Max, as well as comment on what they think it takes to make a successful adventure game. Their secret? Mountain lions.

NMS08: Strong Bad's Cool Trailers for Attractive People

Hot on the heels of news yesterday regarding a certain answerer-of-emails and WiiWare, Nintendo's distribution service for downloadable games, comes our first peek at Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People, along with some more details on what to expect per your buck and the bang it will entitle you to. IGN has uploaded a pair of trailers, the first of which you can catch above. It provides a sneak peek at the first episode of the game, which is due out this June.

IGN also confirmed that each episode of Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People will include at least one small micro game that the player can enjoy via an in-game computer. Fans of Strong Bad won't have any trouble picturing how this will work. As if that weren't enough, you can also piece together your own Girl Squad comics by collecting cards in-game.

Head past the break for the other trailer, which shows off even more gameplay footage. We just hope that come June we'll be attractive enough to be allowed to play this game.
