LEGO Batman website gets some updates, Facebook group

We just got a press release sent in about some cool features at the LEGO Batman website. The only problem is, these features have not gone live yet. That isn't stopping us from telling you what to expect, though.

First of all, there's a downloadable widget for your desktop, in the form of Batman himself or The Joker. Also, there's a tool for creating your own custom wallpapers, if you're into that sort of thing. Then, there's the usual: screens, video (the E3 trailer you saw already) and other miscellaneous goodies. Keep an eye on the site for the new content, which is supposed to be live right now, but wasn't when we checked.

On top of that, there's also a new Facebook group for the game. That is, if you're into the whole social networking site thing.

In the year of 20XX, a super gallery of Mega Man was created

As part of GamesRadar's Mega Man retrospective, created to celebrate the announcement of Mega Man 9, the site obtained a gigantic archive of Mega Man artwork from Capcom. From Mega Man through Mega Man 8, every Robot Monster is portrayed, as are most of the weapons Mega Man obtains from them. Through these artworks, you can follow the Blue Bomber's evolution from pudgy, stumpy robo-boy to jarringly muscular, stumpy robo-boy to, uh, less pudgy. You can also see how much the Robot Masters have changed over the years, from Fire Man to Heat Man to Napalm Man to Flame Man.

MESSAGE FROM DR. LIGHT! These would be totally excellent as wallpapers. Get equipped with adequate hard drive space!

Immerse yourself in the art of Okami

If there's one thing to be said about Okami, it's that the game is stunningly beautiful. The cel-shaded characters and environments evoke a lovely, traditional feel that would be soothing if it wasn't quite so incredibly kick ass. If Capcom's new Okami art site is any indication, it's also incredibly inspirational, because there's a section dedicated to fan art, as well as a number of official pieces. And if you're interested in brushing up your desktop, there are several gorgeous wallpapers, available in sizes to suit even the biggest desktops. We've got previews tucked away in our gallery below.

If the web site isn't enough to fulfill all your visual Okami needs, you can order the official art book for $39.99. That only seems like a lot until you get a peek at the package.

OH! MY SHARK

When we saw this desktop wallpaper of Final Fight's most shirtless protagonist, Mike Haggar, piledriving a shark, we knew we had to post it. We also set it as our own wallpaper, then resized it and set it as our phone wallpaper. We've currently got an order pending at the printer's for our Haggar-piledriving-a-shark flag, which we plan to display proudly outside our home, as a sign of allegiance. To Haggar piledriving a shark.

We think we've found the original sketch by Junkboy, but we don't know who did the awesome coloring. Our Google search, however, did yield another person's celebration of Haggar piledriving a shark: a plan to decorate an Xbox 360 joystick with the image.

Manhunt 2 wallpapers bring the violence to your desktop

If you happen to use your computer near someone who fancies themselves a Jack Thompson-alike, then boy have we got something for you: freakalicious Manhunt 2 wallpapers to dress up that desktop. There's nothing like a giant glaring eyeball of death to get you through the workday.

Our spiffy new galleries balk at anything over 800px wide, so you'll have to hit the source for the bigger, better versions. To make up for it, we added some screenshots as well. Enjoy!
